Silent War is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hinako Takanaga. The series follows the story of Takaba, a young man who is a member of an elite unit of anti-terrorist officers in Japan. Takaba is assigned to work with Kusaka, a highly skilled but troubled officer who has a reputation for being a lone wolf. The two men gradually develop a bond as they work together to prevent acts of terrorism and protect their country.
Silent War was originally serialized in the magazine Chara Selection between 2005 and 2006, and was later published in tankobon format by Shinkousha. The series was also licensed in North America by Digital Manga Publishing.
